Ready for your Lake Huron getaway? Enjoy your very own sandy beach - located on the "Golden Mile" between the communities of Au Gres and Tawas City, Michigan. This lake home has all of the amenities of home; including a fully equipped kitchen, cable TV, WiFi, and a breathtaking view of Lake Huron. The home has a master bedroom with king bed and a second bedroom with queen bed. If you choose the front bedroom you will wake to beautiful sunrises! The bunk room sleeps 6! There are 2 bathrooms, washer/dryer and even central air conditioning for those hot and humid Michigan days.
On most days you will see Charity Island, the Gravelly Shoals Light and often the freighters travelling the Great Lake Huron. Not only are the sunrises priceless but you can spend your days in Lake Huron, building sand castles or making sand cities, taking walks, or just lounging on the deck overlooking the beach. Kids and adults will both enjoy the 50 foot dock and swim ladder. *Thanks to Mother Nature water levels and current beach are ever changing. We try to keep the photos as updated and accurate, as possible.
Wake up and watch the sunrise with a fresh cup of coffee (keurig provided). You can grill on the stamped concrete patio and have your own campfire with s'mores. Just a few miles north is the Alabaster Trail - perfect for biking, running or walking. A few miles south you can sneak in 18 holes at Huron Breeze Golf Course. Bring your fishing gear as Lake Huron is known for some of the best year-round fishing. While you are enjoying your getaway you might take advantage of local marinas, dinner cruises to Charity Island, specialty shopping, restaurants, a theater, many summer festivals and events, and a casino just miles to the south.
